Is Lucida free?
Lucida is free to download on iPhone and Android.
Some features need a subscription, and the app shows which ones and what they cost before you pay.
Prices are set by country and by store, so the amount that applies to you is the one on the plan screen in the app.
What do you get with Lucida?
Lucida is an AI speaking coach. You have real spoken conversations with Lucy, an AI tutor, and get feedback as you speak.
It teaches English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Arabic. Feedback comes back in your own native language.
Lucida marks which features need a plan, and the plan screen states what is included before any payment is taken.

How does billing work?
The store you subscribe through takes the payment and bills you.
Which store you bought through decides who can change or stop the charge later. Lucida cannot cancel or refund a store purchase on your behalf; only the store that took the money can.

• Either way, the receipt comes from the store

How do I cancel, and can I get a refund?
Cancel in the store you bought from, and ask that store for any refund.
What happens to the rest of the period you paid for is set by the store’s own terms, and the /subscription page has the detail.
Refunds for a store purchase are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies and time limits, not by Lucida.

Can I get a refund?
A subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play was billed by that store, so only that store can refund it, under its own policy and time limits. The /refund page sets out which channel handles your purchase and how to ask for one.
Does a subscription renew automatically?
Yes. A subscription runs until it is cancelled, and the store charges again for the same billing period each time it comes round. The renewal amount and interval are stated before you buy. To stop it, cancel in your store account settings before the next renewal date.
Is there pricing for teams?
Yes, separately from the app stores. Lucida for Business adds team dashboards, CEFR distribution across a group and per-employee assessments, so a manager can see where people actually stand. Ask about it on the /contact page.
